MOVATI Athletic Breaks Ground on Its First Calgary Fitness Club

CALGARY, Alberta, Sept. 09, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- MOVATI Athletic, one of Canada's fastest-growing fitness and wellness brands, announced that construction has begun on its first Calgary club, located in the vibrant, rapidly growing community of Seton. Set to open in late 2027, the new club marks MOVATI's expansion into Calgary and its next step in bringing a premium, all-in-one approach to fitness across Alberta.

Since 1997, MOVATI has built a reputation for reimagining what a fitness club can be, blending the energy and intimacy of boutique studios with the amenities and service of a full luxury club. The Seton location will take the signature experience MOVATI is known for to the next level with newly designed spaces and first-of-their-kind services. The new 70,000 sq ft facility will offer a lineup of well-equipped weight and cardio floors, boutique-style studios, a full-service aquatic centre, a dedicated Women’s Only space, and a full suite of wellness and recovery services.
